Overview : The Procurement Team of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites service providers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the “Bangsamoro Youth Leadership Training Project.” The Bangsamoro youth have been among the most vocal in their support of the drafted Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), and the delay in its passage in both the House of Representatives and the Senate have left them dismayed and frustrated. In order to prevent the further radicalization of the youth by some extremist groups, the Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) has conceptualized the “Bangsamoro Leadership Project” to provide leadership training with special focus in Islamic concept of governance. In this context, the project requires the services of a service provider to capacitate at least 200 Bangsamoro Youths on Islamic Leadership and Governance; to help the Bangsamoro youth define their role in the future Bangsamoro government; and to facilitate the formulation of a Bangsamoro Youth Development Agenda to be submitted to the MILF Central Committee.
