Overview:

The firm will work under the direct supervision of the PVE Technical Specialist and guidance of the NCTC. Through extensive literature review and data collection through, but not limited to, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, key informant interviews and surveys; the document should include:

  1. Identified key drivers of radicalization and violent extremism in the target communities.

  2. An assessment of community perceptions of security.

  3. An assessment of the level of community understanding on violent extremism.

  4. Identification of key stakeholder groups/actors.

  5. Identification of key “at risk” youth groups.

Proposals submission:

Interested competent and experienced consulting firms are therefore invited to submit Technical and Financial proposals on or before Thursday, 03 August 2017 at 01:00 PM (EAT) to:

Proposals in one original plus four copies, duly completed as specified in the RFP and marked “Tender for Provision of consultancy to conduct Study on Community Perceptions of Security and Violent Extremism in Tanzania, DO NOT OPEN BEFORE Thursday, 03 August 2017 at 03:00 PM (EAT)” must be submitted before closing time.

All proposals must be delivered by hand/courier services and reach UNDP Tanzania before the deadline as indicated above.

Late proposals will not be accepted.
