Overview :

UNDP Nigeria seeks to establish a roster of Contractors with demonstrable technical and financial capabilities who will be invited to participate in the bidding process for future tenders to carry out civil works of various sizes and complexities as follows:

  1. Construction and Rehabilitation of schools.
  2. Construction and Rehabilitation of Primary Health Care Centres.
  3. Construction and Rehabilitation of Police posts, Markets/Motor parks,
  4. Construction and Rehabilitation of Local Government Secretariats
  5. Construction and Rehabilitation of boreholes
  6. Construction and Rehabilitation of sanitation facilities
  7. Construction of perimeter fences
  8. Installation of renewable (solar) energy systems

Interested contractors are requested to indicate the area they are interested in on the form to be downloaded from http://procurement-notices.undp.org/

2. Participants

Prospective local, regional and international Contractors who are legally registered in Nigeria are invited to participate in the Expression of Interest (EOI).

3. Evaluation and Eligibility

The main evaluation (short listing) criteria is as follows:

minimum 4 years

Relevant past experience

minimum 4 years in construction

Qualification of Engineers

minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field for qualified Engineers and technicians under the Contractors employment, provide CVs

Company structure and organization/equipment

Provide company profile with organigram, type of staff, list of equipment and any other relevant information

Financial Status:

Provide last 3 years certified audit financial reports .Liquidity ratio must be at least 1.

Legal Status:

Provide accreditation and registration/classification details with the Federal Ministry of Power Works and Housing or similar authority in Nigeria.

Applicants must demonstrate a capacity to work anywhere in Nigeria including the North East.

Once the submission date of the EOI has passed, UNDP will evaluate all submitted responses. UNDP reserves the right to undertake a physical capacity assessment of the contractors premises during the course of the pre-qualification, should it be deemed necessary.  Only successful participants will be notified by email of the outcome of the evaluation.

On the basis of the EOI evaluation, qualified Contractors will be short-listed and invited to participate in future tenders for civil works.

 

5. Closing date of submission and Contact Details

The EOI and any supplementary documentation must be received by UNDP no later than 5:00pm on 15th September 2017, Abuja, Nigeria Time. ONLY ONE COPY OF THE Materials should be submitted  to
