Overview : REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 01/2017 (RFI) FROM CSO/NGO Ref. TIGER Project_CSO engagement for training This is a Request for Information (RFI) from national and/or international CSOs/NGOs for potential partnership with UNDP and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) in delivering outputs under the project “Strengthening Conservation and Incentives for Wildlife Conservation in the Western Forest Complex,” requiring expertise and experience as per the RFI attached. Interested CSO/NGOs are requested to submit the mandatory documents and requested information to assist UNDP determin the eligibility and experience on the specific subject of this RFI of the CSO/NGO applying under this request. Key qualifications needed to be demonstrated with the documents submitted are the following: - Experiences of working with DNP in the above areas;
Experiences of working in the 3 Wildlife Sanctuaries in the World Heritage Site in the Western Forest Complex (Huay Kha Khaeng, Thung Yai Naresuan East, and Thung Yai Naresuan West); Proven records on training experiences regarding wildlife conservation: including training track records, curriculum and syllabus development, and training manuals/ guidelines in both Thai (for local training and curriculum development) and English (for regional training).Experiences in working with UNDP/GEF projects in the areas of SMART patrol training, curriculum development will be an advantage.
