| Overview : UNDP seeks to hire a qualified training institution/individual to conduct a 3-day workshop/training: “Project Management for Volunteer Disaster Risk Reduction Projects: Developing, Coordinating and Promoting Community-Based Responses for Disaster Risk Reduction in Viet Nam” for 20 UN Volunteers in October 2017 at the Green One UN House (GOUNH), 304 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi. Training objectives: - Build UN Volunteers’ substantive knowledge of disaster risk reduction, its links with climate change adaptation, and community based responses to disaster risk reduction using existing guidelines – self learning.
- Develop UN Volunteers’ knowledge of project management, including effective planning, monitoring and evaluation of volunteer and community-based disaster risk reduction projects.
- Strengthen UN Volunteers’ knowledge and skills in developing community-based volunteer projects, including building volunteer networks, and methods in volunteer mobilization. Develop UN Volunteers’ knowledge and skills in participatory learning and facilitation to share learnings on project management for volunteer community-based disaster risk reduction with communities in the central region of Vietnam as part of a pilot projects.
