Overview : The UN wishes to hire a qualified travel agent to provide travel management services for UN Agencies in Mauritius and in Seychelles, including WHO Country Office (Mauritius). for their officials, consultants, sponsored officials, study tour travelers and their dependents for an initial period of one (1) year. This Agreement may be renewed, at the sole option of the UN agencies, on the same terms and conditions, for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each, by means of a written notification of such renewal by the UN agencies to the Travel Agency and upon satisfactory evaluation of Annual Performance of the services provided. The total annual volume of tickets procured during the past two years by the UN/UNDP was in excess of Mauritian Rupees 11M (US$ 360K) yearly in Mauritius and Seychelles, of which all were expenses incurred for international travel and travel to Mauritius, Rodrigues and Seychelles. Although there is no expected travel budget, ticketing volume in the years to come is expected to remain at comparatively similar levels. Contract(s) with qualified Travel Agent(s) would cover the provision of travel management and related services hereafter referred to as “Travel management Services”. Travel Services shall include, but not limited to airline ticketing and related services such as hotel reservations, visa services, car rental, rail transaction and travel insurance.
