| Overview : The project objective is to protect the Biodiversity of South Africa from existing and emerging threats through the development of a financially sustainable, effective and representative national protected area network and improved land use practices in buffers around parks with a focus on community benefits (especially job creation and stimulation of economic activity) and partnerships. UNDP is seeking to recruit a Gender Specialist to ensure that gender considerations are fully mainstreamed into all relevant components of the project document as well as produce a participatory gender analysis and action plan for the current and future project implementation. |
