REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Selection of a Travel Services Provider for the UN System in the Philippines

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), for and on behalf of other UN agencies in the country, would like to enter into a Long-Term Agreement with travel agents who shall serve the recurring travel needs of UN staff and affiliates, for a minimum of one (1) year, up to a maximum of three (3) years based on satisfactory performance. 

The successful travel agent shall be expected to render a full spectrum of high quality services, in a prompt, pleasant and hassle-free manner, and in accordance with the UN policies, procedures and guidelines.  These include reservation and ticketing, travel documentation and advisory, regular management reporting, mechanisms for 24 x 7 support, and other standard travel services.

For parties interested to submit a Proposal, the complete Bidding Documents (Eligibility Requirements, Instructions to Bidders and Terms of Reference) may be secured upon registration with UNDP Philippine Country Office and upon payment of a non-refundable amount of US Dollar One Hundred (US$ 100) or its Philippine Peso equivalent, at the following address:

Payments may be made in the form of cash or cheque by personal delivery, or bank transfer.  Instructions for bank transfer may be obtained by sending an email to procurement.ph@undp.org.

The abovementioned Bid Documents will be released to all interested participants starting 27 November 2017 to 22 December 2017 only.   The Bid Documents shall contain all instructions on the rules, procedures, dates and other schedules for the pre-bid conference and opening of bid envelopes, as well as further details on the scope of services required.

UNDP reserves the right to reject any or all the bids, waive any defect or informality therein, accept the bid and award the contract to the most advantageous offer to the UNDP, for and in behalf of the project.  UNDP assumes no responsibility to compensate or indemnify the bidder for any expense or loss that may be incurred for the preparation of bids, nor does it guarantee that an award will be made.
