| Overview : As part of its support to transitional justice initiatives, UNDP intends to promote awareness and disseminate information on transitional justice amongst traditional leaders, youth, women and the general public both at national level and in the states. To this end, UNDP intends to partner with civil society to implement initiatives that will ensure that information reach out to the public and create awareness on transitional justice and the agreed upon mechanisms. This call for proposal invites national civil society organizations (CSOs) to submit proposals for projects that will contribute to this awareness-raising. The overall objective of the grant is to create awareness and disseminate information to traditional leaders, youth, women and the wider community to create a common understanding of transitional justice processes and the mechanisms provided by the ARCSS that is founded on national ownership. This awareness-raising will enhance the public’s understanding about transitional justice, and acts as a platform for South Sudanese to add their voice to and participate in transitional justice processes and the agreed upon mechanisms. |
