| Overview : UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. We are on the ground in 166 countries, working with them on their own solutions to global and national development challenges. As they develop local capacity, they draw on the people of UNDP and our wide range of partners.
The organization currently uses an open source CMS (APLAWS) for portions of its internal and external Web sites (with approximately 140,000 objects and 3,000 additional static pages), but is now looking for a solution that is more robust and easier to maintain. Due to the decentralization of the organization, different departments at UNDP maintain their own pages, and in many cases have created their own micro-sites running on a variety on Web platforms. Content is generated by different areas in the organization and each has their internal mechanism of approval.
As such, the Office of Communications under the Partnerships Bureau is inviting interested companies to participate in the Request for Proposal herein attached. All relevant information, instructions to Offerors and TOR are packaged as part of the attached RFP. |
