Overview : Growing Sustainable Business (GSB) is a programmatic framework for the field-level implementation of the private sector activities of UNDP. This initiative has been in operations for last six years and has accumulated a lot of experiences in developing and forging partnerships. With GSB’s growing popularity, the time has come to synthesize the internal and external experiences and the best practices on the subject matter. Therefore, this assignment is about developing a training with related subject material for successful partnership development. The objectives of the requested service are two-fold: 1. Firstly, best practice methodology in partnership facilitation and development, brokering and facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues in the context of inclusive markets development (involving the government, private sector, and other development stakeholders) shall be made accessible in concise training material. 2. Secondly, GSB brokers, Private Sector Focal Points and other stakeholders shall be trained in a one-day specialized training workshop with at a global UNDP meeting in December 2009 in Kenya based on the training material.
