The United Nations development Programme (UNDP) is planning to procure modified containers to be used as accommodation facility in Abyei. To achieve this goal, UNDP is inviting sealed bid submissions from construction/ prefab contractors, who shall by the adequacy of their Bid Submission, demonstrate that their company, or Enterprises is responsible, fully experienced and competent in engineering, construction planning and management, organizational and site work skills required for the successful and timely completion of all works specified in this Bid. Bidders must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the UNDP that they have the required financial capacity, manpower and equipment to carry out the works.
UNDP will give consideration only to those Bid Submissions that are fully compliant with the Invitation to Bid (ITB) as published and accessible through the UNDP Sudan Website: http://intra.sd.undp.org/bids/undp.php. Prospective Bidders shall give full and due consideration to their availability, suitability, and expertise prior to proceeding with their Bid Submissions.
The Invitation to Bid should be submitted in a sealed envelope and should be in two parts (Company profile and qualifications in one envelope, financial proposal in the other one). Closing date of receipt of complete documents is by 10:00 hours, 8th November 2009 at UNDP Offices, House No.290 - Garden City, Khartoum. Any bids submitted after this day/time will not be considered.
