UNDP China, for and on behalf of UNDP Nepal and Haluwa Khola Mini-hydro Working Committee (HKMHWC) and Khimti Neighbourhood Development (KiND) Project (NEP/07/009), invites internationally sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Haluwa Khola Mini-hydro Power Plant (Electro-Mechanical Equipment) , Ramechhap-NEPAL.
The KiND Project is partnership project between Government of Nepal (GoN), UNDP and Himal Power Limited (HPL). It is being implemented under the framework of the Rural Energy Development Programme (REDP). The project focuses on rural electrification, community development and institutional development of Khimti Rural Electric Cooperative (KREC).
For rural electrification, generation of 400 kW installed capacity Haluwa Khola Mini Hydro power plant at Namadi VDC of Ramechhap district is to be installed for which the detail feasibility study has already been conducted. The erection and installation of transmission and distribution network is on going in the site by HKMHWC. This invitation to bid (ITB) has been called for Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Haluwa Khola Mini-hydro Power Plant (Electro Mechanical Equipment) as per the design and specification intended by the Project.
The scope of work will cover, but not limited to the following building/structure/system/facilities:
- Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Haluwa Khola Mini-hydro Power Plant 400 kW (Electro Mechanical Equipment)
- Synchronization of Haluwa khola Power plant system in the existing Jhakre Power Plant system (630 kW).
