Overview :

UNDP Nigeria on behalf UNODC wishes to Procure the Services of a Training Provider to deliver Standard First Aid Training and supply First Aid Kits for UNODC Project NGAV16 2018 Capacity Building Programme.

In the line with the Project Output 2.3.2 (WBSE SB-004575.03.02 refers),” Prepare and conduct training, including training the trainer with a view to sustainability” this project office has developed a capacity building programme for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 2018 which includes the provision of a 3-day standard first aid training courses. The dates of the first aid courses of this capacity building programme have been established and agreed with by our counterpart agencies. Our procurement needs are to obtain a certified training provider who can deliver a first aid training programme and also supply first aid kits in line with the below specifications.

SERVICES REQUIRED

Our procurement needs for provider of this trainer and equipment are as follows:

Deliver 24 x 3-day standard first aid training courses as per the below schedule. The training provider must use an approved course outline and material, in line with international best practice for first aid training. The training provider must be a certified training provider and be able to demonstrate that each of its trainers have been appropriately trained and certified. The training provider is to provide in advance of the training, a sample soft and hard copy of all training material to the UNODC Project Team.

The UNODC Project will procure a venue for the training and provide meals for all participants. The UNODC Project will also make all travel arrangements and pay all travel entitlements for all participants. The training provider is to make and pay for all travel and accommodations for the training providers. The training provider will need to print and provide a copy of all necessary training material for the course for each participant at its own expense. The training provider is to use its own computer equipment, if required, for presentations during the training as well as provide any training aids it may require. The UNODC Project will ensure the venue has a projector and screen for use during the training.

The training provider is to maintain a daily record of attendance at the training in line with the project’s requirements and also complete a training report within 2 weeks of the completion of each course summarizing the conduct and observations, including participant’s evaluation of the course for each training course and provide the attendance record and meeting report within one week of the training being completed. The training provider must issue a certificate of attendance for each participant who completes the necessary requirements of the course. Each certificate must prominently display logos of the European Union and the UNODC and noting the training was funded by the European Union as part of the UNODC implemented Project “Response to Drugs and Related Organised Crime in Nigeria”.

The training provider is to provide and deliver the first aid kits in line with the specifications to the training venues at the time of the training in line with the timetable. 69 large commercial size first aid kits (similar to that at annex 1) and 108 smaller first aid kits, suitable for use in vehicles, (similar to the example at annex 2), are to be supplied as per below table. These are to be used in the respective State Commands within the respective zones for each of the training sessions.
