Overview :

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mongolia office announces the procurement notice for assignment of NATIONAL CONSULTANT – FUNDRAISING & PARTNERSHIP SPECIALIST for “The Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN)” project.

A.      Qualifications of the successful candidate

Education:

·         Degree in marketing, communications, humanities, fundraising, business administration, social sciences, international relations, or a closely related field, or another field combined with relevant work experience.

·         Postgraduate degree in relevant field is an asset.

Experience:

·         Proven experiences in mobilizing resources and/or fundraising activities

·         Demonstrated experience or engagement with local and international investors

·         Proven evidence of having successfully completed at least two similar assignments;

·         Experience in working on sustainable and gender sensitive financing in environmental and agricultural field is desirable;

·         Strong oral and written English is desirable as the final reports should be submitted in both Mongolian and English.   

Competencies:

•         Excellent organizational skills.

•         Strong communication and writing skills.

•         Writes clear professional correspondence;

•         Ability to manage and work with a multidisciplinary team.

•         Strong motivation and ability to work and deliver under short deadlines and under pressure.

•         Focuses on results and responds positively to critical feedback.

•         Able to work independently with little or no supervision.

B.      Recommended Presentation of Offer

The following documents should be requested:

a)       Letter of Confirmation of Interest to conduct the assignment (downloadable from UNDP Mongolia website);

b)      P11 application form, indicating all past experience from similar projects, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least three (3) professional references;

c)       Brief description of why the individual considers him/herself as the most suitable for the assignment, and a proposed work plan and methodology on how they will approach and complete the assignment. 

d)      Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs in MNT.
