Expected Duration of Assignment : Under the guidance of the VASS policy specialist, and working closely with the SWVR team in Bonn and UNV Office in New York, the consultant will design, prepare and support implementation of a high-quality launch event for the SWVR2018 report. The event will allow UNV to effectively convey key messages from a complex research report to a multi-stakeholder audience. Working with UN Member States and the Volunteer Groups Alliance and other partners, it will also provide an opportunity to share the voices of ordinary volunteers at a high-profile UN event in New York. As such, innovative methods for engaging stakeholder groups both before and during the event will be essential to its success.
