| Overview : In accordance with Para 22 of the tender RFP no: 92901- Supply Chain Management Services on award criteria, UNDP/PSO announced today (06 Nov 2009) that the mentioned tender is cancelled because there were no sufficient offers which would have permitted to comply with the requirement of secondary bidding exercise as spelt out in the tender document.
Consequently, UNDP/PSO shall continue to seek out the provision of such requirements within the existing structure and Procurement Rules and Regulations. Under these regulations, UNDP Country Offices can invite tenders as and when required.
In the future, UNDP/PSO intends to explore the possibility of changing the overall tender strategy including but not limited to other forms of technical pre-qualification of Service Providers.
