Overview : UNCDF is looking for a consulting company to develop a prototype for a financial education module that guides users step-by-step to adopt a new skill that will allow them to better manage their household finances. UNCDF seeks a firm with the creativity to identify a specific financial literacy need in the context of Tanzania and propose a creative solution, focusing on: - Use of innovative technology;
- Cost-effectiveness and feasibility of delivery;
- Participatory and engaging content (for example, gamification);
- A focus on behavior change methodologies.
The expected result is that UNCDF will partner with one or more of the shortlisted organizations to 1) identify and prioritize behavioral learning objectives for the module and verify the delivery mechanism, 2) develop a prototype of the module, 3) test and update the prototype for use in UNCDF programs and as a public good, 4) develop a pricing plan for adaptation and use by other programs, and 5) collect baseline and end line data on recipients of education.
