Considering that the scope of the project is manifold and extends beyond traditional partners/sectors, project Disha seeks to engage the services of experienced agencies to implement models of cluster development with handloom artisans/weavers in North Eastern region. The agencies should propose their execution strategies, implementation plan in detail; existing and proposed linkages with private sector, cost benefit analysis per artisans, financial proposal, etc. to achieve the above-mentioned objectives in the North-Eastern Region. The agency will be documenting the process of developing the design of cluster based intervention, capacity building of artisans in managing production, capacity building in contemporary designs; market linkages with private sector labels and process of moving towards the sustainability path.
