| Overview : UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 Consultant for Disaster Risk Management (06 months) As a member of the Resident Coordinator Office (RCO), the consultant is expected to support the UN Resident Coordinator (UNRC) and the UN Country Team (UNCT) in the areas of Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Response Coordination, and support the work of the inter-agency UN Disaster Response Management Team (DRMT). The consultant is expected to make contributions to the implementation of the One Strategic Plan 2017-2021, advancing the UN’s Delivering as One (DaO) agenda, enhancing synergies and impacts of UN support in the areas of disaster preparedness and response coordination. The consultant will work in partnership with all associated UN agencies to support such efforts. The selection will be on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
