| Overview : The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of implementing a tax regime for agriculture, going beyond the taxation of Rwanda’s traditional cash crops such as coffee and tea. The feasibility study will need to address a key equity concern. Rural areas are the poorest in the country; therefore, it must be ensured that any proposal to introduce taxation will be cognizant of this important fact. |
