| Overview : UNCDF seeks to engage a national/international firm to develop project proposal for resource mobilization based on areas of cooperation identified in the MOU and possible synergy that can be created through their on-going programmes/projects in Nepal and other South Asian countries. The main aim of the proposed project is to improve the access of VC actors to financial and other business development services through strengthening public-private-civil society partnerships. Given the critical role played by agriculture value chains in the transformation of the mountain areas, and their vulnerability to emerging impacts of climate change, Climate Resilient Agriculture Value Chain Development has been identified as the focal theme for this joint project between UNCDF and ICIMOD. |
