| Overview : Dear potential bidder, UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Consultant for the Translation of Ramsar Handbooks. The project “Conservation of Critical Wetland Protected Areas and Linked Landscapes’ (Wetland Project) is a four- year project (2015-2018) funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through UNDP. The project’s immediate objective is to provide support to the Government of Viet Nam in establishing new wetland Protected Areas, and strengthen systemic, institutional and organizational capacity for the effective management of wetlands to mitigate existing and emerging threats to biodiversity from connected landscapes. The project document was approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Viet Nam (MONRE) in Decision No. 837/QD-BTNMT dated April 13, 2015. The Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) is the project’s National Implementation Partner while the Biodiversity Conservation Agency (BCA) is the Co-Implementing Partner. Dự án “Bảo tồn các khu đất ngập nước quan trọng và sinh cảnh liên kết” (Dự án Đất ngập nước) do Quỹ Môi trường toàn cầu (GEF) tài trợ thông qua Chương trình phát triển Liên hiệp quốc (UNDP) trong 04 năm từ 2015-2018. Dự án sẽ hỗ trợ kỹ thuật cho Chính phủ Việt Nam trong việc thiết lập các khu bảo tồn đất ngập nước mới, xây dựng năng lực hệ thống, thể chế và vận hành để quản lý có hiệu quả và giảm thiểu các mối đe dọa đối với đa dạng sinh học từ các sinh cảnh liên kết. Văn kiện Dự án đã được Bộ Tài nguyên và Môi trường phê duyệt tại Quyết định số 837/QĐ-BTNMT ngày 13 tháng 4 năm 2015, trong đó Viện Chiến lược, Chính sách tài nguyên và môi trường là Chủ dự án, Cục Bảo tồn đa dạng sinh học là đơn vị đồng thực hiện dự án và chịu trách nhiệm thực hiện Hợp phần dự án về kiện toàn khung pháp lý về đất ngập nước (ĐNN); tăng cường năng lực bảo tồn và sử dụng bền vững đất ngập nước; thiết lập và vận hành khu bảo tồn đất ngập nước Thái Thuỵ tại Thái Bình. Dự án mong muốn tìm kiếm nhóm chuyên gia tư vấn có kinh nghiệm biên dịch các tài liệu trong lĩnh vực môi trường/đa dạng sinh học để biên dịch các tài liệu trên để in ấn, phân phát hỗ trợ mục tiêu nâng cao năng lực cho các cán bộ quản lý liên quan đến ĐNN.
