| Overview : The purpose of the Joint Trainee programme is to enhance the professional competencies of socially excluded groups to improve their employability in the public, private and non-government sector. This will be achieved through a structured 11 month; full time UN assignment which provides candidates from socially excluded groups with the opportunity to improve their professional skills on various issues and competencies (e.g. communication skills, constructive feed-back and performance evaluation, leadership, writing and presentation skills) by having access to mentoring and practical experience in an UN working environment. The UN in Nepal is seeking proposals from legally registered, qualified interested entity to manage and administer the trainee programme in accordance with this TOR and the approved guidelines and policies of the trainee programme on behalf of the participating UN agencies. |
