Overview : The UNDP Pacific Office in Fiji is implementing projects as part of an overall programme in these areas including the Fiji Access to Justice Project and the Rights, Empowerment and Cohesion for rural and urban Fijians Project. The Fiji Access to Justice Project supports access to justice for impoverished and vulnerable groups through empowering people to access legal rights and services through the relevant key justice institutions, in conjunction with strengthening those key justice institutions to undertake improved service delivery. UNDP Pacific Office in Fiji is seeking for qualified individual consultant under the Access to Justice Programme to work as the Junior Specialist. Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager, Access to Justice, Rule of Law and Human Rights Programme, the ‘Junior Specialist – Access to Justice and Rule of Law’ will be responsible for assisting with technical matters related to the implementation of the Access to Justice and Rule of Law Programme. Incomplete, joint proposals and proposals received after the submission deadline will be rejected. Individuals applying if successful have the option to sign an Individual Contract in their personal capacity or a Reimbursable Loan Agreement which shall be signed by the individuals employer or company/firm. This shall be indicated in the Annex I template.
