| Overview : To whom it may concern, The goal of the project—Support to Eligible Parties to Produce the Sixth National Report to the CBD (Asia) is to provide technical support to GEF‐eligible Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in their work to develop a high quality, data‐driven sixth national report (6NR) that improves national decision‐making processes for the implementation of NBSAPs; that report on progress towards achieving the Aichi Biodiversity Targets and inform both the fifth Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO5) and the Global Biodiversity Strategy of 2021 – 2030. To ensure timely submission of the report, the China 6NR project team plans to select an institution to conduct research on the report and produce the report in both Chinese and English, making use of the scoping report/zero draft for each national target and the indicator sets and methodologies prepared by the project team. Relevant information and requirements are summarized as below: 1. Major Tasks (1) Developing work plans and collecting relevant information, data, etc. (2) Developing the sixth national report (6NR). 2. Major outputs The Sixth National Report (Chinese and English version) 3. Time frame Starting from the day of contract-signing, all activities should be completed in 3 months. 4. Qualifications and other requirements Please refer to the RFP documents. Any organizations interested shall contact FECO for RFP documents, and submit proposals to FECO before 17:00 23rd Sep.2018. The proposal should comprise of technical proposal and financial proposal in separate sealed envelopes.
