Overview :

UNDP Liberia is seeking for a Local Consultant to provide technical support to an international expert in order to undertake a study( CONDUCT NATURAL DISASTER RISK ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOP MANAGEMENT AND RISK REDUCTION STRATEGIES LINKED TO NATURAL DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT POLICY) in Liberia to assist stakeholders in integrating appropriate DRR measures (preparedness, mitigation and prevention) and strategies in on-going and future programmes (qualify female candidates are encouraged to apply). The study will assess natural disaster risk and develop management and risk reduction strategies linked to natural disaster risk management policies that will be shared more broadly with other stakeholders, including government agencies – NDMA, Ministry of Finance & Development Planning, Environmental Protection Agency, Liberia Refugee Repatriation Agency, Liberia National Red Cross & others.

 

Duty Station: Monrovia, Liberia, travels across Liberia in selected vulnerable areas
