| Overview : The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in Liberia through the United Nations Operations Management Team (OMT) wishes to secure the services of an Individual Consultant to support the development of a new Business Operations Strategy (BOS 2.0) for the UN Agencies in Liberia based on the UNDG guidelines on Business Operations Strategy (BOS). BOS 2.0 is intended to be the foundation in this process, ensuring all agencies have access to shared services, allowing them to achieve their potential, in the most cost-effective manner. In particularly, the BOS should aim to establish close links between the United Nations Development Assistance Framework 2020 – 2025 and operations, as well as reducing costs and harmonizing business activities of the UN Agencies in Liberia through joint business initiatives. The document should serve as an easy-to-use framework to better harmonize, synchronize, monitor and manage UN’s joint business activities in the country and support the implementation of the UN Programmes in the country. It would also allow the OMT (and the UNCT) to improve monitoring, management and implementation of joint business initiatives in the medium-term and in a coherent way by establishing clear linkages with Liberia’s One UN Programme for 2020-2025.
