| Overview : Training Invitation UNDP Lebanon has made use of the Atlas e-Tendering module throughout 2018 and has processed so far 145 procurement events in Atlas. In 2019, the UNDP Country Office Lebanon will continue using Atlas eTendering The UNDP Energy and Environment Unit plans its’ activities for 2019 and invites interested bidders for a training and awareness event to understand better how UNDP is conducting its procurement processes. This event is useful for current bidders and contractors to understand the new programme activities planned for 2019. The training is as well important for new bidders who have not yet worked with UNDP to understand better the ways how to submit a bid and to understand the evaluation criteria. A substantial amount of infrastructure projects in 2019 will focus on labour intensive projects, where it is expected that contractors engage workers and make less use of machines and heavy equipment during contract implementation. The UNDP Country Office invites interested bidders to attend the training on Thursday, 29th November from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm at its offices located at UNDP, Arab African International Bank Bldg. Riad El-Solh St., Nejmeh, Beirut 20115211, Lebanon. Interested bidders are requested to register in Atlas and to confirm their participation through the eTendering module Event ID 0000003128.
