Overview :

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Programme Coordinator, the Communications Officer will contribute towards reaching the objectives of the regional programme entitled: “Supporting Minimum Standards for HIV, Health and Rights in Prison Populations of Sub-Saharan Africa”, through development and executing the programme’s communications strategy. The Communications Officer will work with UNODC National Project Coordinators and UNODC strategic partners such as SADC, ACSA (African Correctional Services Association), AHPPN (African Health in Prisons Partnership Network), Government officials, technical experts and civil society.  

Application Requirements

A completed application must include: Cover letter, CV and Personal History profile (UNDP P11 Form). Personal History profile must include past work experiences, computer skills and include three contactable references.

Assessment:  Evaluation of applications may include a written assessment which may be followed by a competency-based interview.
