| Overview : BID NOTICE. INVITATION TO BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE COMMUNITY ECO LODGE AT WENYI- WENYI IN KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK-RETENDERED Background: The Government of Uganda, through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) received financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for a project on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of the Threatened Savanna Woodland in the Kidepo Critical Landscape in North Eastern Uganda. The Project is being implemented by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) on behalf of Government of Uganda (GoU) in collaboration with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), National Forestry Authority (NFA), Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB) and the relevant partners at the district level. One of the major activities spearheaded by UWA is construction of a community Lodge at Wenyi - Wenyi. Site Inspection: 21st March 2019 at 9:00am and immediately pre-bid meeting will follow.
