The United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) is mandated to promote, coordinate and support South-South cooperation throughout the United Nations system and globally. The High-level Committee undertakes, inter alia, intergovernmental reviews of progress in the implementation of the Buenos Aires Plan of Action, the new directions for South-South cooperation and the Nairobi outcome document of the High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation.

In responding to its mandated functions, UNOSSC produces an important number of official United Nations reports as well as the documentation of solutions, outreach materials, conference/Expo texts and several other types of materials.
