Overview : Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) from local theatre groups in Timor-Leste DEADLINE for submissions: 14 June 2019 Building Shoreline Resilience of Timor-Leste to Protect Local Communities and their Livelihoods UNDP-TL in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified duly registered local (Timor-Leste) theatre groups for pre-qualification and possible implementation of specific activities in educating, awareness raising and creating change through the performing arts and drama. Performances will focus on activities relating to mangrove/wetlands conservation and restoration and sustainable land management among others and shall include: - Script writing for community theatre, film and/or local radio programs.
- Production and performances of high-quality theatre across the 7 selected municipalities targeted by the project
- Engage with local communities, schools and youths utilizing theatre style performance relevant to coastal protection and climate change adaptation in communities
- Composition and production of songs and short films for community education for a range of audiences
Selected municipalities: The following seven (7) municipalities have been selected for implementation of the project activities: Dili, Liquiça, Covalima, Bobonaro, Manuhafi, Manatuto and Viqueque. Required Documentation to be submitted with the Expression of Interest (EOI) The Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested registered local theatre/performing arts groups should submit an official letter of interest containing the following attached supporting documentation: - A Concept Note comprising background information, objectives and approach that will be used to develop and implement the activities (max 5 pages);
- A copy of the company Registration and copy of constitution and/or by-laws of the organization and evidence to show when the organization was established;
- A portfolio of the organization (showed by brochure or website), a description of activities/projects of similar nature undertaken by the organization (max 5 pages);
- A detailed list of completed activities/projects including description, donors/partners, amount of funds used, year/implementation period; (max 5 pages);
- Statement of financial and technical capacity for the previous 3 years;
- Organizational structure and list/names of key personnel in the organization;
- The CVs/experience of the professional team (including performers/actors) that will be engaged to undertake the proposed activities for this project.
