| Overview : The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Philippines Country Office would like to invite all interested partners to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a partnership in rolling out free public internet Wi-Fi through self-sustaining revenue generation models, as part of the UNDP- Pipol Konek project. The RFI will be used to gather information and recommendations via the completed questionnaire (Appendix A) on the range of possibilities with regard to: a) Rollout implementation plan for the delivery and installation of Free Public Wi-Fi services that provide a robust user experience and quality of service; b) A list of public sites that can be covered; c) Detailed business model that the firm would employ to recover capital outlay and operational costs; d) Details of a communications plan that will include mockups of the DICT and Pipol Konek logos in the SSID, captive and landing portals; e) Information on internet security, use of data and proposed network management system; f) Technical details of wireless access points, including installation and deployment standards; and g) Partnership Implementation arrangements with duties and responsibilities of parties (implementing firm and their partners, UNDP and DICT).
