Overview : The Government of the Republic of Botswana is committed to the overall improvement in public sector governance through various reforms whose broad aim is to strengthen service delivery and reduce corruption and wastage. To institutionalize these reforms, the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) has established the Office of Strategy to coordinate Performance Improvement, Work Improvement Teams to identify and correct impediments affecting efficiency and productivity, and Anti-Corruption strategy to reduce the risk of corruption. In an addition to these initiatives, the Directorate seeks to implement a Quality Management System. Through compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards, DCEC will be able to strengthen its efficiency, reliability, responsiveness and transparency and improve its ability to achieve its targets. In light of the above, DCEC with the support of UNDP requires services of an ISO Technical Consultant to deliver a system certifiable to ISO 9001:2015. The ISO Technical Consultant will provide specialized training to managers, staff and process owners, as well as in the review and documentation of core and support processes. |
