| Overview : RBA is located on the 24th floor of the DC1 building. It serves 45 COs, 2 Regional hubs in Addis and Dakar, and the platform in Kenya. It shares the floor with ITC and Staff Council. Currently, the number of RBA staff on the 24th floor is 30. With the new RR/RC delinking set up and other regional emerging issues/crises, RBA’s support has increased significantly beyond delivering on the strategic priorities. Increasing capacity is key for RBA to deliver on the growing needs in the region. The number is projected to increase by 40% bringing the number of RBA staff to 50 by the end of the year. In its current design, the floor does not provide the office spaces to accommodate the additional staff. space on the floor is not optimally used to accommodate growth. RBA would like to seize this opportunity to renovate its office space to: (i) create space for 50 staff based on the standard square footage; (ii) optimize space on the floor to create sharable space to accommodate other units; (iii) establish a branded and modern office environment that responds to its business needs; and (iv) conducive to the wellbeing of its staff. |
