| Overview : REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Services of a Strategic Innovation Advisory Firm under the #NextGenCities Philippines Initiative (RFP-148-PHL-2019) The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Philippines aims to support a select number of cities on initiatives to futureproof and accelerate sustainable development impact through dynamic management of strategic risks, opportunities and innovation. UNDP aims to empower city leaders and their teams by providing them with a series of strategic options to better understand the key risks they are facing and exploit the transformative opportunities available to them and ultimately increase their effectiveness in creating citizen-centered, livable and sustainable city spaces. In this light, UNDP invites strategic innovation advisory firms to submit proposals for a framework of engagement around this vision, with a view towards local capacity building, knowledge transfer, and scaling to other cities. The firm is expected to work with UNDP Philippines, its local city partners, and associated stakeholders to develop a framework for dynamic management of strategic risks and transformative opportunities in the context of Philippine urbanization.
