| Overview : The Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Meteorology Department, has prepared a specification for the Automatic Weather Stations to be procured under the Early Warning Project funded by the Italian Government through the United Nations Development Programme. The assignment includes installation of ten (10) Automated Weather Stations in sites around the country in Eswatini. As per the attached specifications and list of requirements, the selected supplier will be working under the guidance of the Project Manager at the Meteorological Department and the specific tasks in this assignment will include: i) Installation and commissioning of ten (10) weather stations and equipment at ten (10) project sites around the country. The equipment to be installed include: rainfall, temperature, wind, and pressure measurement devices. ii) Provision of electronic tool kits. iii) Provision of Field AWS installation and maintenance laptop as per shared specifications. iv) Groundworks, installation and commissioning and prepare manuals on Operations and Maintenance Procedures for installed equipment. v) Site Training: including user/technician training, database management and quality control, and system administrator training.
