Procurement Notices

This is a Request for Information (RFI) from national and/or international CSOs/NGOs for potential partnership with UNDP in delivering outputs for resilience and recovery projects in Darfur requiring expertise and experience in the following areas:

1. Component 1: Urban and Rural Livelihood Activities:

• Value Chain Activities – Livestock, Poultry, Gum Arabic, Groundnuts, Honey, Sesame, Sorghum, hibiscus,  dairy and other value chains
• Food Security and Livelihoods Analysis
• Microfinance and Enterprise Recovery /development
• Vocational Training and Social Enterpreneurship
• Training and Capacity building
• Social Enterprise and Innovatoin Challenge

1. Component 2:  Peacebuilding Activities

• Reconciliation and Co-existence Conference
• Establishement and strenghteneing of Community-based Reconciliation Mechanisms (CBRMS)
• Support local dialogue and conflict resolution
• Vertical and horizontal linkage of Community-based Reconciliation Mechanisms (CBRMS) to higher peace and rule of low institutions

1. Component 3: Land Conflict management

• Land Tenure, Policy and Legislation,
• Land conflict mediation, arbitration and resolution

• Community-based land management and tenure systems
• Land Survey and mapping
• Nomadic corridours conflict mapping

1. Component 4: Institutional Capacity Building

• Capacity Assessements and surveys, monitoring systems
• Community assessments includiding Community Environmental Assessments
• Impact Evaluations
• Training Activities for Institutions and communities

1. Component 5: Productive Asset Development and Rehbailitation

• Design and Construction of Light-weight community infrastructureEstablishment of user committee and cost recovery systems

1. Component 6: Youth Empowerment

• Youth Participation in Civic, Peace and Community development duties
• Youth skill and competentcy development
• Youth Employment and Social Enterprise
• Vocational Tranining

Target Locations:

All the Five States of Darfur (North Darfur, West Darfur, Central Ddarfur, East Darfur, East Darfur)

1. INFORMATION REQUESTED

Interested CSOs/NGOs are requested to fill out the below questionnaire, attaching all supporting documentation where specifically requested.   If you are an international NGO, please provide information and documentation relating to your permits and licenses for your local presence in this country.

Please note that attachments should be provided to support each answer to the questions where reuired.  All questions must be answered directly and clearly.  Extraneous information that are not directly responding to the questions will only constrain the ability of UNDP to positively assess the CSO/NGO’s alignment with UNDP requirements.
