Overview

The objective of this DFA assignment is to provide a better understanding of the sustainable development financing landscape in Maputo Province and of the opportunities that may exist to mobilize additional financial resources for sustainable development. In doing so, the provincial DFA in Maputo Province will help identify ways of approaching sustainable development finance at the subnational level in a more strategic manner, making recommendations on how this can be achieved by taking a broader look at sustainable development finance at this level that goes beyond traditional sources of public finance, while identifying governance and coordination mechanisms that can support this more strategic approach to sustainable development finance.
