Under its Local Governance and Community Development Programme, UNDP Nepal invites proposals from qualified Payment Service Providers (PSP) to develop and implement a payment system to make social cash transfer payments to an estimated 13,000 recipient households across 39 VDCs in two adjacent districts.
Who can apply: The RFP is open to National and International Professional Financial Institutions (Proposers) registered under the authorized agency of the Government of Nepal or the organization’s country of origin. Proposers have to have proven experience in providing financial services in Nepal. Detailed eligibility criteria can be found in the RFP document. Eligible Proposers are requested to submit separate technical and financial proposals.
How to apply: Eligible Proposers may download the RFP document from the UNDP Website http://www.undp.org.np/announcements/index.php. The proposal must be submitted along with all required documents in accordance with the RFP document. Details are provided in the RFP document.
The pre-bid meeting (presentation and question and answer session) will be held at UNDP, UN House, Operations Meeting Room on Friday 10 August 2012 at 11:00 hours and the minutes of the meeting will be uploaded at UNDP website http://www.undp.org.np/announcements.
Completed proposals must be received no later than 1200 hours on 31 August 2012.
