Scope of Work
The main objective of this assignment, engaging a consultancy firm is provide services to disburse grants in the twelve targeted villages in order to enhance the economic opportunities and capacity of villagers. Another objective is to conduct financial literacy sessions to build capacity of the target villages to improve their knowledge and access to enable them to make financial decisions that will enhance their long-term economic resilience. This project aims to benefit 1,800 people across 12 targeted villages through this Cash for Work programme. Total budget of Cash for Work activities for 12 locations was calculated by the Number of Days and the Number of People benefited. The project plans to implement this activity for 11 days for each village.
The consultancy firm will be expected to perform the services described below:
- Select tasks for each targeted village with effective and impactful activities that brings benefits to construction
- Financial management and disbursement establishing clear procedures to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient fund distribution
- Monitoring and supervision implementing effective oversight mechanisms to assess programme performance and ensure continuous improvement
- Capacity building and training initiatives aimed at empowering community members through comprehensive skill development and educational opportunities
