The Service provider will conceptualize and deliver Climate Action Academy tailored to the needs of elected and appointed political officials. This intervention aims to raise knowledge of target group on the importance of tackling the climate change by providing a broader picture on climate change, covering concepts of mitigation, adaptation, risks, and demonstrating how climate change is a key issue for green economic development. The Climate Action Academy would focus on parliamentary action and good practices that can mitigate the impact of climate change, as well as other relevant topics and should also cover importance of scaling up decarbonization of economy, switching from fossil fuels to renewables and building resilience of local communities to climate induced disasters while supporting green economic development.
