Introduction : Under the project, GoI-UNDP-GEF SECURE Himalaya Project, UT of Ladakh plans to engage services of a specialized agency for development and revival of Sheep and Yak Wool based handicrafts and promote sustainable natural resource management practices in select areas of the Changthang landscape. The objective is to procure equipment and build capacities of target beneficiaries for revival and development of Sheep and Yak Wool based handicrafts to enhance income of the beneficiaries.
