Introduction : RFQ/CSA/2210/98 - Off Grid Battery Backup System for UN compound in Sri Lanka. UNDP Sri Lanka has four roof top solar PV systems which include 531 solar panels, eight nos. grid tied inverters installed during last seven years. The proposal for the battery backup enables to store energy to utilize minimum four hours at any unexpected power failure to provide electricity to the UN compound during three hours of load shedding. The scope of work shall include the following. • Detail design of the system adhering to the technical specifications with the products available with the vendor and submission of shop drawings and specifications for approval. • Supply of equipment with importation, custom clearance, transportation to site and safe storage as necessary. • Installation of equipment at given spaces and completion of assembly as per the specifications and guidelines. • Testing and commissioning of the system. • Attending to defects during the defect’s liability period. • Guarantee of performance up to the performance guarantee period Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide. if you have an account, log in in this link: http://supplier.nextgenerp.partneragencies.org/ using your username and password.
