| Overview : Overview : The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hiring a Value Chain Expert to identify the logistical gaps, sectoral gaps, operational gaps for MSME development and inform the project about the effective and targeted support the project needs to consider for the subsequent phases, i.e. Business Development.
Phase and Business Acceleration and Sustainability Phase for each of the identified value chains. The consultant will contribute to the boosting of the program kick-start and furnish a robust database that will support the realization of the project interventions throughout its three interconnected phases of screening Phase, business Development and business Acceleration and Sustainability. The consultant would have to do a lot of leg work to agree with the concerned stakeholders and actors within the potential value chains including government entities on the range of activities to be undertaken and the key counterparts’ respective roles. 1/ Technical proposal: Brief description of the proposed method of work, planogram and methodology indicating how it will approach and carry out the assigned assignment.
2/ Financial Proposal: indicating the total all-inclusive contract amount and any expenses related to travel to the duty station (Djibouti) to be detailed in accordance with the attached template "Offerors Letter to UNDP Confirming Interest and Availability".
