| Overview : United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting innovative proposals for two activities under two categories: 1) Enhancing Stakeholder Engagement for Business and Human Rights in Bangladesh and 2) Research Study on Workers’ Rights in the Construction Sector of Bangladesh, as a response to this IFP from interested NGOs/CSOs/Organizations for Business and Human Rights in Asia (B+HR Asia) Project, UNDP, Bangladesh. The Low-Value Grants to support NGOs/CSOs/organizations is an objective of Business and Human Rights (B+HR) in Asia, UNDP to foster small scale innovative actions to address human rights problems that are created by business operations in Bangladesh. This support will encourage innovative ideas, actions, and approaches to initiate policy-level actions to solve human rights problems and challenges by connecting specific groups of businesses and communities. The implementation areas should be connected to the national level. This support mechanism will apply Low-Value Grant (LVG) mechanism to address two areas. Firstly, it will enhance the capacities of potential organizations for engaging in awareness-raising activities for the implementation of UNDP's and initiating the process of the National Action Plan (NAP) on business and human rights. Secondly, it will also promote advocacy activities and networking among labour organizations, CSOs, government, private sector and business associations. Here, Business and Human Rights (B+HR) in Asia, UNDP Bangladesh invites you to submit proposals for the following two categories. Bidders may submit their proposals for one or both categories. Submission of IFP document: The letter of submission should clearly mention the subject “Application for Low-Value Grant for ________” (number of the category and title of the assignment to be clearly mentioned in the blank), with the necessary documents as per instructions specified in the “solicitation document” available in the link above. The deadline for submission of Proposals (as per the given template in the IFP) and a cover letter under the organizations’ letterhead should be sent to bd.procurement@undp.org by 08 August 2021, Sunday, 4:00 pm local time. |
