EVENT ID- 0000012034 UNDP is now looking for a qualified consultant with strong data analysis and storytelling skills to assist with developing innovative, engaging, and accessible information products so that outcomes of the Innovation Challenge can be shared with national and global audiences. The consultant will provide support in the following areas: - The Accelerator Lab has generated significant amounts of data (text, images, audio, and video) through one-on-one sessions, group workshops and visits with Ghanaian innovators. This data includes outcomes of testing the viability of some of the innovations, results of efforts to scale up, as well as impacts. The innovators also hold additional data on various platforms including WhatsApp.
- The consultant is required to curate this data, by analysing and presenting it using data visualisation and storytelling techniques. This will include grouping innovations (for example by domain (SDG) and region) and combining audio, video, text, images, and animation to enable easier sharing of insights.
- We are particularly interested in the application of software such as Adobe Illustrator, Aftereffects, Photoshop, Power BI, Tableau, and 3D infographics to bring these innovations to life.
- It is critical to ensure that insights from these innovations are accessible to all beneficiaries, including persons with disabilities (for example deaf communities) and those from rural and hard-to-reach communities.
- Effective dissemination to both national and global audiences will be critical, hence close work with the innovators and the UNDP Communications Team will be necessary.
