| Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Consultant on adaptation to climate change (Ref: T220502 Objectives: UNDP is looking for a national consultant on climate change adaptation to assist the Department of Climate Change, MONRE, UNDP and drafting team in developing the Draft of the Decision. The expert will be supervised by (i) the DCC, MONRE, and (ii) the UNDP Senior Technical Advisor on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). S/he is also expected to work closely with MONRE officials and other mobilized technical consultants. The consultant will be responsible for: - Review national and international best-practices related to the integration of climate change adaptation into the strategies and master plans;
- Support to develop guideline for integrating climate change adaptation into the national, regional and provincial strategies and master plans (the strategies and master plans are specified in Article 93 of the Law on Environmental Protection);
- Participate in the presentation related contents at consultation meetings, and explaining and finalizing the contents of the draft of the Decision.
