Overview :

Sustainable public procurement is a tool that leverage public funds to achieve development objectives. The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and specifically Goal 12.7, provides a platform for linking public procurement practices with development objectives.

UNDP is fully committed to sustainable procurement and will maximize environmental, social, and economic considerations in the procurement process whenever and wherever possible. To further advance the degree of sustainable procurement implementation, UNDP is developing sustainable procurement guidelines for its highest sustainability-risk and spend categories.

UNDP intends to hire an individual contractor (IC) to develop a sustainable procurement guideline for Information and Communication (ICT) Equipment. The scope of the assignment is described in the attached Terms of Reference. 

Interested Individual Consultant must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications:

  1. A brief Technical proposal outlining a methodology for the approach and implementation of the assignment.
  2. Personal CV or P11 indicating all past positions held and their main underlying functions, their durations (month/year), the qualifications, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate, and at least three (3) the most recent professional references of previous supervisors. 
  3. Duly accomplished Letter of Confirmation of Interest and Availability including Financial Proposal using the template provided by UNDP.

Proposal shall be submitted to the UNDP Jobs site UNDP Jobs - 110082- Support to the development of a Sustainable Procur no later than 18 November 2022 (Midnight New York, US). 

Failure to submit the above-mentioned documents or Incomplete proposals shall result in disqualification.
